![]() ![]() Today, I let it update Reader (which shouldn't affect anything, correct?), and now I can't view anything I'm being told to update to the latest version. Yesterday, my flash player was working fine. I am having the same problem, but with different circumstances. Now check your Flash files and in the add ons for the Shockwave Flash Object to see that it is Enabled. Now you will want to turn all of your AVG back on and anything you disabled in the system tray. When that is finished, Restart your computer Once. When it is fully restarted, then Restart it again(to clear the files out) When that is finished, double click on the Installer on your Desktop. When it is finished, Restart your computer. Now double click on the Uninstaller on your Desktop and RUN. Look in your system tray(area near the clock) Disable any yahoo messenger, aol or msn or any applications that use Flash Player. ![]() Now Close all browsers, you only want to be looking at your Desktop. While you are there look for LinkScanner and UNcheck "Enable AVG Search-Shield" and the "Enable Active Surf-Shield" and SAVE the changes. Double click on the Resident Shield and UNcheck the "Resident Shield Active" and SAVE the changes. Then download the Flash Player Installer and SAVE it to your Desktop:Īfter you have done that, then right click on the AVG icon in your system tray and open it. Before you Disable AVG, please download and SAVE the Uninstaller to your Desktop: ![]()
